Canterbury Park tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a fun spot that’s got a little bit of everything? Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota, is definitely worth checking out. This place isn’t just about horse racing, though that’s a big part of its charm, it’s also home to exciting events like the annual Canterbury Park Gala, which raises funds for local charities, and the quirky K9s at Canterbury event that celebrates the bond between folks and their dogs. After a rough patch with health rules in 2020, the track bounced back in 2026, kicking off a full racing season that had everyone talking. You can sit back in the fancy Premium Lounge during special food and drink nights, or get an exclusive feel in the Box Suites if you’re into that VIP vibe. And trust me, if you’re trying to find your way, the easy route from the MOA is I-494 west, then south on 35W, or from the east, hop on Highway 94 and merge onto I-35W south. It’s a laid-back, friendly place that’s perfect for celebrating a birthday, catching a race, or just hanging out with friends. Whether you’re eyeing front-row seats at the Canterbury Rodeo, the swanky Larry Fleet VIP sections, or just looking for budget-friendly NASCAR tickets, Canterbury Park has something for everyone. Honestly, it’s like a giant playground for sports lovers and event seekers alike. So, yeah, give it a shot, you might end up making it your new favorite spot.
